Top 10 Extravagant Handbags

Well, I guess bags are part of women's life.

I know out there, there are a lot of women which can live without no make-ups but not a nice bag.

Branded or non-branded, what do you think?

I guess both are beautiful, just that I think non-branded are less quality.

But I guess, this is not the fact. Even LV sometimes are not durable.

Is the PRICE. The price makes differences.

But still, some branded bags are sometimes too overrated.

So, this time Im going to blog about the "Top 10 Most Expensive Women's Bags."

Hmm, how expensive is expensive?!

RM2K++ for a LV bag is considered expensive?

Nah, that is just a small amount, too far compare to the "Expensive" that Im going to talk about later.

So, I will start by descending orders.

Top 10 - Marc Jacobs Carolyn Crocodile Handbag

Extravagant Price: $30,000

This is one of the Marc Jacobs' most popular bags despite the hefty price tag. The bag is made of purple crocodile skin and quilted with interior pockets & separators.

Top 9 - Fendi Selleria Bag

Extravagant Price: $38,000

Fendi, is also one of my favourite brand. This bag can be made to order with sable & chincilla, which are two of the world's rarest and most expensive animal skins. It is big enough to accommodate a wallet, keys, hp & make up bag.

But, I don't think this bag is worth to spend so much on it, because with this kind of pricing, you can go for Hermes Birkin which starts at only $5000. =p

Top 8 - Gadino Bag by Hilde Palladino

Extravagant Price: $38,470

Ok, I haven't heard of this before. But this bag is made from crocodile skin, designed by Hilde Palladino. The bag has white diamonds strategically placed in clasps of white gold. So, I think this is why the price is so high.

Top 7 - LV Tribute Patchwork Bag

Extravagant Price: $42,000

Who doesn't want to own a LV bag? But this bag is so rarely. Only 20 are available in LV store in Europe & Asia and the 4 in the USA have already been sold.

What so special about this bag?? I dunno. Ok, maybe of the art of patchwork. I personally don't like it. =)

Top 6 -Leiber Precious Rose

Extravagant Price: $92,000

As for this Precious Rose is in the shape of a perfect flower. The bag itself has 1,016 diamonds (42.56 carats), 1,169 pink sapphires & 800 tourmalines, and of course there is only one available in the world. Pretty or chio or not? You judge yourself.

Top 5 - Hermes Matte Crocodile Birkin Bag

Extravagant Price: $120,000

Now, finally have come to Hermes. A brand that I adore, but still not affordable for me. So, this bag, is named after a British singer/actress, Jane Birkin. What so special for this bag? Cause the clasp of the tote boasts 10 carats of white diamonds. It is made by crocodile, but still you can get a cheaper versions starting at around $5000.

Top 4 - Urban Satchel Louie Vuitton Bag

Extravagant Price: $150,000

WTF! NO JOKE!!! This is a bag which is in the list of the top 10 most extravagant bags. It's the Louis Vuitton Urban Satchel Bag. It is made by all sort of urban junk like cigarette packets, water bottle, tea bags, band aid & etc. But apparently, this bag does not exist and was only put together as a spoof by artist. Ok, who give a damn? whether is by an artist or not, still is just a bunch of junk which we can simply find it in the bin. $150,000?? NO WAY!!

Top 3 - Lana Marks Cleopatra Bag

Extravagant Price: $250,000

Cleopatra clutch only produces one for each retail year by Lana Marks. The picture above is made of metallic silver alligator skin and a clasp with 1,500 black & white diamonds in 18 carat white gold. In the 2007 Academy Awards, Helen Mirren wore the $250,000 Lana Marks Cleopatra Clutch, and this designer only allows one star per year to carry her handmade diamond studded design down the crimson carpet. Snooty enough? hehe.

Top 2 - The Chanel Diamond Forever Classic Bag

Extravagant Price: $261,000

OMG! It's Chanel. My favourite.

The "Diamond Forever" classic handbag boasts 334 diamonds for a total of 3.56 carats, in 18-carat white gold. The shoulder straps are also made from white gold. There are only 13 available worldwide, with five of them being in the USA.

World Most Extravagant Bags - The Hermes Birkin created by Japanese designer Ginza Tanaka

Extravagant Price: $1.9 million

This Hermes bags was apparently sold in 2008 for around $1.9 million. It is made of platinum and has over 2,000 diamonds. It is also versatile, so that in addition to being a handbag you can also use the diamond strap as a necklace or bracelet by removing it from the bag. The bag itself has an 8-carat pear shaped shimmering diamond that can also be used separately. Multipurpose eh? lol

Worth it?

I think I will better stick to the normal pricing bags but who doesn't want to own a Hermes Birkin? Just the normal one will do. =D
